Six months after the smashing success of the Festival at the Bellini Theater, PalomArt made his come-back on December 22nd for the “PalomArt Winter Fest 2018”, organizing a 12-hour non-stop event with exhibitions, installations, performances, visual art, live music and dj sets of international artists.

All of this hosted by a new and spectacular location: Palazzo FONDI, a historic building of the XVIII century, which had only recently been opened to the public, was  invaded by music, art, entertainment and an overwhelming energy filling its wonderful halls.

Among the artists playing in the main stage, Nickodemus stands out. He is a DJ, producer and founder of Wonderwheel Recordings, has Italian origins and was born and raised in the Big Apple (NY). Living legend of the New York Boiler Room, he began to travel around the world since the early 90s becoming a promoter and pioneer of the contamination between musical genres (afrobeat, nu tropical, funk, hip hop, house and world music) and a vision of reality that leaves no room for barriers and boundaries shifting between different populations, cultures and sounds. He joined us in Naples for the PalomArt Winter Fest after playing in  New York, Paris, London, Cuba, Mexico, the Caribbean, Cairo …

Yeahman is a multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer now famous on the French scene. His latest album “Transborda” is an integral part of the “Ghetto Sonido” format, already a must in Toulouse night-life. His genre is called Global Bass, in it the five continents and the seven seas dialogue with each other simultaneously. Let yourself be carried away by the waves of its frequencies

The event opened with the exhibition and presentation of the book “Ecosophy” by Jose Carlos Bellantuono. Ecosophy means the wisdom of the earth, a lost wisdom of those who knew how to listen to the earth. Perhaps in the contemporary era, dominated by technology,,it has lost its raison d’être . The images were made in 10 years of work, the texts that accompany them reflect the artist’s ideological and cultural growth and maturation path. A path that, in its completeness, leads to a totalizing and revealing worldview, while looking at the humble microcosm of everyday life.
